Attention Catawba County Democrats!
We made a lot of progress in 2018. We fielded more candidates than in many years. We had many volunteers and lots of new recruits. We helped elected Anita Earls to the State Supreme Court and John Arrowood to the Court of Appeals.
We worked really hard.
While we lost the General Assembly, County Commission, and a contested district judicial race, we accomplished important objectives.
We made the Republicans work harder and raise more money, we shined a light on key issues like education, access to healthcare, and economic equality, and, importantly, we showed Catawba County that
Catawba County has a visible, active, and growing Democratic Party.
What can we do to be more successful in upcoming elections? We can organize, organize, and organize – and, for one, attend the Catawba County Democratic Party Convention on March 30 at 10 a.m. at Conover Station.
And, here’s what we can do on March 19 at 6:30 p.m. at CCDP Headquarters, 1612 Tate Blvd., Hickory.
Wayne Goodwin, Chair of the NC Democratic Party, is coming to talk about how we can work harder and smarter to be more effective in organizing, recruiting candidates, and electing Democrats.
Join us for an informative and important evening.
See you March 19!
