Early Voting Numbers!
After four days of Early Voting, here are the turnout results:
Dems          Reps          Unas               Total 523              514             571                 1623
There are also 183 Absentee Ballots that have not been returned yet. These numbers are very encouraging and, as you can see, we are holding our own. But we need everyone's help....  Please ask ever Democratic and Dem leaning Unaffiliated voter you know if they have voted and if not, what their plans for voting are!  Personal contacts work!
 Very Important Voting Information
1.  When voting, remember to check the paper roller printout as you touch the screen to select your candidates.  Sometimes the machine gets out of calibration and prints the wrong candidate on the paper roll. This has happened in our county and if this happens to you, immediately notify the elections staff so they can re-calibrate that machine.2. If you know people who may have registered since the last election, encourage them to go to Early Voting. DMV and Social Services computer errors have been reported that keep voter registration information from being sent to the Board of Elections. During Early Voting, if their name does not appear on the voting rolls, they can register and vote right then.  They can only vote on a previsional ballot on election day. 3.  For information, help, or if anyone has trouble voting or at the polling sites, they should call:
Pat Salomon (864) 384-5076 Margaret Parker (864) 266-8273
To avoid problems, vote in Early Voting.
