Early Voting Report

After eleven days of Early Voting, 3,900 people have voted.  In addition, 182 Absentee Ballots have not yet returned.

28% of Democrats, 23% of Republicans, and 23% of Unaffiliated voters have voted.  This shows that Democrats are enthusiastic, but we have to do even better since there are fewer of us here is Polk County.  Currently, there have been 100 more Republican voters come out than Democrats and 50 more Unaffiliated voters than Republican voters.  425 more women have voted than men.

We have had great volunteers and candidates outside the Womack Building greeting voters with pocket ballots.  Reports of the encounters with voters have been pretty positive overall.

Please talk to every Democrat you know about how critical this election is to our country and how important every vote is. Ask them what their plans are for voting.
We have 5 more days of Early Voting and then Election Day.
